Varnasrama Research Team took birth on August 18, 2007 with a very humble beginning of four members in Secunderabad at the behest of His Holiness Bhakti Raghava Swami whom we enthusiastic youngstersgot in touch with regard to Cow protection and Varnasrama. From then the journey was filled with new founded enthusiasm of a revolution and it continues to do so for the new Varnasrama Research Teams. Now there are at least 5 Varnasrama Research Teams that meet regularly in various parts of India as well as outside with around 100 members altogether. Varnasrama Research Team, as very name suggests, is a team of inspired members who wish to zealously get involved in the much needed Varnasrama movement through ways of research, support, and implementation. This is very important if we have to succeed in implementing Varnasrama mission all over the world, thus fulfill Srila Prabhupada's last instructions.
Varnasrama Research Team is essentially a youth movement which should overtake the young members of BYS (Bhaktivedanta Youth Services) or IYF (ISKCON Youth Forum) to get inspired for Simple living and High thinking philosophy to finally become a part of the farm community. The basic ingredient to start your own team is faith in the philosophy of Varnasrama, enthusiasm and coordination with what is happening in the rest of the teams that are already running. This newsletter tries to fulfill the last this need and little more. I see a very bright future for this newsletter which will cater to the young enthusiasts, bring reports from devotees working for change, involve professionals from various fields and publish researches being done in the area in different parts of the world. this most important effort which Srila Prabhupada stressed so much.
